School Psychology

Rachel Brown-Chidsey, Ph.D., NCSP

Rachel Brown-Chidsey received her Ph.D. in school psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 2000. Prior to receiving her doctorate, Dr. Brown-Chidsey taught general and special education for 10 years. Dr. Brown-Chidsey's research focuses on curriculum-based measurement (CBM), response to intervention (RTI), and school-wide reading improvement. Dr. Brown-Chidsey's publications include two books entitled Assessment for Intervention: A Problem-Solving Approach, and Response to Intervention: Principles and Methods for Effective Practice.
