Professional Development

Goals: To create new professional development programs for educators that improve their abilities to serve linguistically and culturally diverse Limited English Proficient students.

To provide tuition and related financial support for certified teachers toward the completion of coursework leading to State ESL endorsement. 

To provide workshops/lectures and seminar series for teachers, interns, and school personnel on instructional practices for serving culturally and linguistically diverse students, particularly in the area of literacy and content area instruction.  

To provide tuition and related financial support for individuals toward the completion of coursework leading to the Certificate of Graduate Study in Culturally Responsive Practices.
