Denise Enrico is a Lecturer and Coordinator of the Literacy Program at the University of Southern Maine. She is a member of the Center for Inquiry in Literacy, a literacy advisory board for the Maine Department of Education. In this capacity Enrico helped draft the document Building on a Solid Foundations. She has participated in several professional presentations at the local, state, and national level. These include MDOE sponsored conferences on comprehension and writing and at the 2001 International Reading Association National Convention, a session on using technology in a writing classroom. Her areas of interest include writing process in all content areas, comprehension, and designing and managing a literacy classroom.

Kat Schorr manages the Professional Education Department, which is comprised of Literacy Education, Abilities and Disabilities, Professional Educator and Educational Leadership Programs. She has worked for USM since 2000 and completed her M.S. in Adult Education at USM in August 2009. She received the 2009 USM Professional Staff Divisional Excellence Award in Academic Affairs.
