Marijane
Fall, Ed.D.
Marijane Fall is a professor in Counselor Education, in the Human Resource
Development Department at USM. She teaches varied courses in counseling
including counseling children, school counseling, practicum, play therapy,
and supervision. Her research interests include play therapy with children
in schools, self-efficacy, and clinical supervision. Dr. Fall has written
over 25 journal articles, numerous articles for newsletters, a book on
clinical supervision, and delivered over 80 conference presentations at
the local, state, and national levels. Her service has included the national,
regional, and state levels of the American Counselor Association, the Association
for Counselor Education and Supervision, The Association for Play Therapy,
and the Maine School Counselor Association where she has held offices and
served on committees. Service to local communities comes in the form of
assistance to school counselors designing research, consulting about school
and student concerns, and presentations to schools.
