Adele Baruch- Runyon is an Assistant Professor of Mental Health Counseling in the Department of Human Resource Development. She has recently completed her PhD. and a two year Instructorship position at Syracuse University. Her research has focused on the ways that practitioners integrate diverse traditions in their counseling practice. As a counselor educator she has focused on strategies that encourage students to infuse their field practice with conceptual understanding as well as the knowledge and questions generated from ongoing experience. She has collaborated with her graduate students in writing about these processes and their evaluation. She is happy to return to the Northeast coast after many years in Central New york where she continues her interests in gardening, swimming and sustainable community development. |
