About USM CCE
Since the Abromson Community Education Center opened in April 2005, over 50,000 people have come through our doors.
5,000 people have attended continuing education programs to develop their careers, expand their skills, awaken their creativity, and pursue their passions/
45,000 people have attended films, musical galas, professional conferences, business retreats, plays, and speeches.
They have come to listen to Bill Clinton, Mary Robinson, former president of Ireland, and the real-life hero of Rwanda, Paul Rusesabagina. They have attended the Jewish Film Festival and the Southern Maine Water Festival. They have enjoyed PortOpera and rocker Cindy Bullens.
Who are these 50,000 people? They are your colleagues and your neighbors. They represent every age, ethnic, and interest group in southern Maine. They are our community. We invite you to join them in the coming year.
