Career Resource Centers

Both Portland and Gorham Career Services offer extensive career resource libraries.  You'll find books, pamphlets, periodicals and videotapes that contain valuable information about the career search process.  You'll also find information about particular careers and specific companies in Maine and throughout the world.  The resources libraries are available on a walk-in basis whenever the career centers are open.

Both Portland and Gorham Career Services offer the use of specialized career software including: career search programs, preference indicators, internet job searches, interactive CD-ROMs, and other computer-based tools designed to help you in your career decision-making process.  This service is free to current students enrolled in at least three credits and to USM Alumni, and available on a walk-in basis whenever the career centers are open.
