Sharoo Wengland

Sharoo Wengland serves as the main contact person for the Office of the President. In addition to managing the President Kalikow's complex schedule, she provides executive support, including event planning and coordination. Her duties include hiring and managing student workers employed by the Office as well as working with the University of Maine System Office and USM vice presidents, deans, directors, staff, faculty members, alumni, and volunteers. 

Sharoo has worked for the University of Southern Maine since 2005 and within the Office of the President since 2008. She also serves as the secretary to the USM Board of Visitors. Sharoo graduated with her bachelor’s degree at USM in Social and Behavioral Sciences, graduating cum laude, and is currently enrolled in the Adult and Higher Education graduate program.
