Words & Images 2009
New at the Bookstore!

Words & Images, USM's literary journal, has been published for the last 40 years.

This year's Words & Images has it all! This book contains stories, poems, photographs, artwork, a novel excerpt, and a memoir.

The cover art is by Katie Diamond, and is titled "Influential Territory."
A note from Kelly, Textbook Manager at the USM Portland Bookstore:

Attention all John Connolly fans! His new book just just arrived at the Portland Bookstore!
The new one is titled The Lovers and I can say that it is definitely one of his best. I devoured it in one sitting - finishing at 3am Sunday morning and just went WOW.
He really takes you on a crazy ride this time. John will be coming to Maine next week and as always will be dropping in to autograph books so please let me know if you would like one as they went very fast last time he was here. The book is hardcover and is $26.00.
