GORHAM, Maine -- The Colby College Mules swept the three doubles matches
and won five of six singles matches to defeat the University of Southern Maine
Huskies 8-1 in a non-conference men's college tennis match Wednesday at the USM
Field House.
The win lifts the Mules record to 3-2 for the spring season. The match was
the spring season opener for the Huskies.
Posting the lone win for the Huskies was junior Chris Chaffee (Fryeburg,
Maine) who took a three-set decision from freshman Alex Chin (Anaheim Hills,
Calif.) at number four singles, 7-5, 1-6, 6-2.
