announcement as the Huskies opened their preseason training camp Tuesday morning
(August 24).
The Huskies embark upon their 20-game regular season in 11 days when they

for the championship the next day at 1:00 p.m. The third place game precedes
the title tilt at 11:00 a.m.

Alison is a player who leads by example and is an excellent role model. She
gives 110 percent on the field and always wants what is best for the team. Kim
is a great motivator and an excellent communicator with the coaches and her
teammates. She is also one of our strongest defensive players. Kerry is a
quiet leader who gets the job done and has a good touch around the goal," said
Brown-Denico who begins her second season after guiding the Huskies to a 9-12
mark last season.
Drury, a forward, was the team's leading scorer last season with eight
goals and six assists for 22 points. She had three game winnings goals. She
has 20 goals and 12 assists for 52 points in her three-year career. Her 52
career points ranks ninth on the Huskies' all-time scoring list.
Cochrane netted a career-high two goals and three assists for seven points
last season from her center midfield/back position. She led the team with seven
defensive saves.
