Dates for USM Cheering Squad Tryouts Announced

	GORHAM, Maine  --  Dates for those interested in trying out for 2001-02 
University of Southern Maine Huskies cheering squad have been announced by 
coaches Melissa Bard and Valerie Pollard.
	Tryouts will be held October 15-17 (Monday-Wednesday) in the Warren G. 
Hill Gymnasium on USM's Gorham campus from 6-8 p.m. each day.  For more 
information, contact coaches Bard and Pollard at 780-5993.
	Bard and Pollard, former four-year members of the cheering squad, were 
named co-head coaches for the squad, replacing Melinda Parent who served as head 
coach last year.
