Mission

The school is part of its community and has a responsibility for improving the understanding and use of applied science and technology.  Its philosophy centers on the application of theory to practical problems.   The School maintains high standards and rigor in education, challenges its students, and meets the challenge of change.   Its academic programs are designed and delivered so that all students who are prepared and motivated can and should successfully complete them.    Research and other scholarly endeavors provide intellectual and professional stimulation, keep teaching current and dynamic, and are of value to the community at large.
