Undeniably the best part of USMART is our students. They Range in age from 16 to 84 with an average age of 27. There are traditional four-year students, many of whom live on campus while others live in Portland, Gorham and the outlying towns and villages. As well, there are many returning students and students seeking a second career or simply life enrichment. The students come from diverse backgrounds with often-divergent perspectives, interests and backgrounds. They tend to be very independent thinkers and dedicated workers.
