The Department of Art is composed of many artists and scholars that comprise a variety of interests and orientations. Art Historians are involved in both peer review texts and web-based publications. All are active nationally and present regularly at national conferences in their fields. Studio Artists produce a range of works that are regularly seen in local, regional and national venues. Styles vary widely with many involved in gallery exhibitions, while others are involved in installations, web based venues, and public art programs.
