Photography

The photography program directs students to explore the technical and artistic potential of photography as a visual language and vehicle for personal expression. The facilities and curriculum offer studies in black & white, color, and digital media. Students are encouraged through assignments, readings, slide lectures, critiques, and self-designed long-term projects to find their own visual and conceptual approach to the medium. Our graduates have become fine artists, professional photographers, graduate students in national programs, and teachers.
