Kerry has worked in the School of Education and Human Development and 400 Bailey since 1973. In 1992 she was honored with USM’s Distinguished Classified Staff Award. Over the past 39 years, she has had the privilege to assist over 700 adult education and 1,400 Counselor Education students earn their M.S. degrees.
As a support staff person for the Department of Counseling, Adult and Higher Education, she is the front-line person who answers questions for prospective students to assisting students throughout their program. Some of the departmental/program activities that she coordinates are admissions, new student orientation, program workshops, comprehensive examinations, and the graduation certification process. She also manages course scheduling, program web pages, the department’s budget, and student & alumni databases.
On a personal side, she and her husband resides in Gorham. She has a daughter (2008 USM graduate) and step-son (& three granddaughters living in the Cleveland, Ohio area). She enjoys traveling, movies, photography, jewelry making, and spending time with family and friends.
