Visit USM

The University of Southern Maine serves its 10,000 plus students from its two southern Maine hubs in Portland and nearby Gorham. The southern Maine region, cited as one of the most liveable in the country, offers a range of educational, cultural and recreational opportunities. Convenient, eco-friendly shuttle buses connect these two hubs. USM also has a campus in Lewiston-Auburn.

Portland

- Located in Maine's largest city, the Portland hub offers easy access to the city's bustling arts district, cultural activities, and waterfront. The Glickman Family Library, Woodbury Campus Center, Sullivan Recreation and Fitness Complex, Abromson Community Education Center, and classrooms are in Portland.

Gorham

- Located in a charming New England village, eight miles west of Portland, Gorham is USM's residential hub. The hub includes seven residence halls, the Costello Sports Complex (indoor track & tennis courts, Olympic-size ice arena, fitness center, and gymnasium), Brooks Student, Russell Hall Theatre, Corthell Concert Hall, and classrooms.
