Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarship
(Awarded on a limited basis)
Transfer Affairs in the USM Office of Undergraduate Admission promotes the continued education of exemplary students who have earned an associate degree at a community or technical college. Membership in the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society is a prerequisite for consideration. All transfer students applying for fall admission who meet the
following criteria are automatically considered for this award.

- Member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society
- 3.25 GPA and an A.A., A.S. or A.A.S. degree from a community or technical college (Non-U.S. citizens and students with previous bachelor's degree are not eligible)
- Applying for fall admission and intending to enroll full-time
- Completed application on file by May 1
- Awarded in the amount of $500 per semester (fall and spring
semesters only)
- Renewable for up to three consecutive semesters
