Requires that applications for fall admission be received by February 1. Scholarships are renewable for up to seven consecutive semesters for those students who maintain continuous, full time enrollment and a minimum grade point average of 3.00. See complete eligibility requirements below (unless otherwise specified). All award amounts for academic year (fall and spring semesters).
Presidential Dirigo Scholarship: $1,750 per academic year
Awarded to students who graduate in the top 10% of their class or with an A- average and who
attain a 1100 SAT (Critical Reading and Math only) or 24 ACT composite score
Opportunity Scholarship: $1,200 per academic year
Consideration guaranteed to under-represented Maine residents who graduate in the top 30% of their class or with a B average, and who attain a 950 SAT (Critical Reading and Math only) or 20 ACT composite score, and exhibit exemplary extracurricular involvement.
Presidential Commendation Scholarship: $6,100 per academic year
Awarded to students who graduate in the top 10% of their class or with an A- average, and who attain a 1100 SAT (Critical Reading and Math only) or 24 ACT composite score.
Presidential Recognition Scholarship: $3,950 per academic year
Awarded to students who graduate in the top 30% of their class or with a B average, and who attain a 1000 SAT (Critical Reading and Math only) or 21 ACT composite score.
