The USM Office of Undergraduate Admission eagerly invites you to learn more about the merit scholarships available to entering first year and transfer students. These awards, including the Presidential Scholarships and the Opportunity Scholarship, acknowledge those high school seniors and entering transfer students who exhibit proven exceptional scholastic success.

To be eligible for first year scholarships a student must apply for full-time fall admission by February 1st. No additional application form is necessary.

The Osher Reentry Scholarship Fund is now accepting applications for the Osher Reentry Scholarship. This fund was established at the University of Southern Maine by the Bernard Osher Foundation. Undergraduate reentry students who have experienced a gap of five or more years in their pursuit of higher education and who can look forward to a significant number of years of employment after completion of the baccalaureate degree are encouraged to apply.
