INSTANT MESSAGE COUNSELOR!

Would you like to speak to an admission counselor online over AOL IM? You can talk to a counselor every Monday between 2:00 - 4:00 pm (EST). Use the screenname "USMAdmission" to reach the counselor.

Over instant messenger, the counselor can answer your questions about USM: how to apply, academic programs, student life, etc. For security reasons, no confidential information can be released over an instant message conversation. If you do have questions about your application or status, please call our office at 207-780-5670, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (EST)

If a counselor is not available to talk, you will receive an away message. Please be patient, we will try and answer messages as they arrive. Your conversation with the counselor may be saved and recorded. You can also email with a question if the counselor is not available.

To use AOL Instant Messenger, you can use one of the following options:

*Download the IM program to your computer.

*Chat in the widget above. You do not need to sign onto AOL to use the chat.

*Use the web-based version of the AOL program, AOL Express. You do not have to download anything to your computer to use this version. This version might be ideal if register a screen name with AOL to use this option.
