Sullivan Recreation and Fitness Complex

The Sullivan Recreation and Fitness Complex, a unit within the Dean of
Student Life, is a multipurpose facility designed with your fitness, recreation,
and wellness in mind and conveniently located on the Portland
Campus.
The complex boasts a newly expanded air-conditioned fitness center in
addition to newly renovated locker rooms with saunas. The complex also
houses the main gym, three racquetball courts, squash court, and two
multipurpose rooms.

Valid
USM Campus Card Photo I.D. is required when using facility,

A Valid Government issued photo ID is required for
day use purchase at Sullivan Recreation & Fitness Complex.
All Students, Alumni,
Staff, Faculty, Alumni, Friends or anyone with a membership to the Sullivan
Recreation & Fitness Complex MUST CARRY their USM
Campus card photo id each and every time they enter the facility.
THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS POLICY!
NO
ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 18 WILL BE
ALLOWED INTO THE ACTIVITY

Complex Summer Fee Policy
All
students will need to purchase a summer membership if they are not registered
for a summer class. The summer fee
is $45.00 from May 17, 2009 – September 6, 2009.
The only students who have free summer access are those attending summer
session and paying for their registration which includes the Unified fee for
their summer class. Once they
register for classes their card will be activated and scanned for access to
Sullivan Complex. All others pay the
summer fee for $45.00 and their card will be activated after payment made.
Graduates
will purchase a membership after Graduating in May 2009
- They become Alumni May 17,
2009 and will need to purchase Alumni memberships at that time. May
purchase a summer pass until they are sure if they will be returning this fall.
Summer
college membership – If
a student is attending another college, and can provide documentation of college
enrollment, is 18+, and living in this area for summer they may purchase a
$45.00 summer membership. They will
also be required to obtain a USM Photo ID card within 48 hours of the purchase
of their membership for access.
All Students, Staff, Faculty, Lifeline and
General Public members MUST CARRY their id each and every time they enter the
facility. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO
THIS POLICY.
Parking
in the Sullivan Recreation & Fitness Complex is for University Employees
only (USM Faculty, Classified &
Professional Staff members only with a USM Parking tag for verification).
Students should not park in the Sullivan Complex lot for access to this
facility.
Refer Students to the Woodbury Campus Student parking Lot or the Parking Garage
for Student parking access.

Winter Membership - $35.00
Memberships are available to the following:
Students who DID NOT take classes Fall semester
& are taking Spring semester classes need to purchase.
Spring semester fees don’t allow students access until the first day of the
Spring semester 2010.
Students who
are NOT Pre-Registered for Spring semester 2010
classes.
**Visiting
College
students who are home over their college
winter break with their
Spring 2010 college class schedule & a valid college ID from their
current college.
**Anyone not a USM student will need to obtain a USM Campus card for $3.00
within 48 hours of purchase of winter membership at the USM Campus card office,
Monday – Friday,

Students who took Fall 2009 semester classes & ARE pre-registered for
Spring 2010 semester classes
will have access over the Winter Break
semester with their USM Campus ID
card for access.
