The
Musical Theatre Degree at the University of Southern
Maine is offered as a collaboration between the School of Music and
the Department of Theatre. It is designed
for those individuals who wish to pursue a career in
Musical Theatre Performance. Private lessons in
voice, solo and ensemble performance, as well as
theatrical and dance training are emphasized.
This degree concentration complies with
NASM guidelines for a Bachelor of Music
in Performance with an emphasis in
Musical Theatre.
