ELE 401 402, 403 Design Project I, II, IIIProposal, implementation, and reporting on a device or system to perform an engineering function. May be done individually or in small groups. Student selects or is assigned an advisor and with that advisor defines the project. Under the supervision of the advisor, the project is researched, designed, developed, and implemented. Oral and written reports are required. This is a three-semester sequence. Prerequisites: permission of department. (Semester 1) Completion of at least two 300-level electrical engineering courses including ELE 342 but not ELE 300.
