Welcome to the Registrar's Office FAQ's

Registration for Fall 2008
All graduate students may register now.
Non-degree undergraduate students may register now for distance learning, off-campus, and LAC courses.
Non-degree undergraduate students may register beginning August 25, 2008 for Portland and Gorham courses.
If you have previously taken courses at USM, register on MaineStreet using your @maine.edu sign on and password. If you have trouble logging in, please contact the Help Desk at 780-4029 or go to: http://www.maine.edu/current/psoft/umsacctinfo.php.
If you have never taken courses at USM, please contact our office at 1-800-780-5230 or 1-800-800-4USM, ext 5230 for help with registration.

The Registrar's Office maintains accurate academic records of all course work taken at the University of Southern Maine. This includes creation of the course schedule, registration, add/drop, grading, major changes, withdrawal from a single course or a complete semester, diplomas and printing of academic transcripts. The University of Southern Maine is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.
