Night Sky Mythology

High Octane Astronomy

Star Dome Astronomy

A brand new course that focuses on the stories of the sky

Night Sky Mythology

Orion pursues the Seven sisters and Taurus is not at all pleased about it.
Cassiopeia just can’t keep quiet about anything!
Venus swoons!
Apollo lingers along the twilight-tinted horizons.
Mercury swiftly soars through the Universe as the diabolical Pluto lurks in the deepest caverns of night.
Hercules labors;
Zeus is caught in yet another intrigue;
Swans drink freely  from the Milky Way and
Our favorite sea monster, Cetus, ravages.

 This is the night sky of lore.  This is the night sky of drama, intrigue, magic, and mayhem.  Plots hatch here….forlorn lovers nestle there….and the fates spin out the future….

 Enroll in the Southworth Planetarium’s brand new course:  Night Sky Mythology.

We just sit in the star dome theatre two hours a week for four weeks and discover the stories of the sky.

A different season each week…….and more than 50 constellations altogether!
